When God wanted a mother

The Art Gallery of the Pro Civitate Christiana until 28 February 2010, features 30 works by 900 dedicated to the figure of Mary and the theme of the Nativity
The exhibition consists of works by great artists of the 900: the sculptors F. Bodini, E. Manfrini, E. Pellini; painters: C. De Amicis, G. L. Uboldi and G. Hajnal, the engravers: L. Servolini, G. Piombanti Ammannati and V. Old. The drawings and engravings, nearly all new and belong to the Gallery's collection of Pro Civitate Christiana and represent the figures religiosedella Nativity: Mary, Jesus and Joseph.
